craighall house, edinburgh

Craighall House is a small, friendly residential care home in a residential area in the north of Edinburgh, just off the Ferry Road. It’s close to green parklands and bus services, and has a bright, cheerful atmosphere.

Craighall House is a modern, beautifully designed bungalow which offers modern, purpose-built accommodation for up to 12 residents. All rooms and facilities are on the ground floor, and can be accessed by wheelchair users. Each room is unusually spacious, with its own en suite shower room and kitchen area with fridge and tea-making facilities, so residents can enjoy their independence and entertain visitors in their rooms.

The shared dining room and adjoining lounge are colourful and bright, offering a cosy place to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Craighall House has a lively atmosphere and residents enjoy a range of activities, including games, arts and crafts, bingo and films. Residents have good links with the local primary school and nursery for visitors and concerts.

In keeping with Mansfield Care’s resident-centred ethos, residents compile their own individual wish lists and plan their own activities. Shopping outings are a favourite, and you’re also encouraged and supported to access nearby activities independently if you wish.

Like all Mansfield Care Homes, Craighall House provides exceptional personal care, restaurant-standard cuisine, and all the specialised facilities you’d expect from a top quality care home.
