residents’ and relatives’ involvement

At Mansfield Care Homes, we have an open door policy and actively encourage visits from friends and relatives. We also welcome visitors who would like to join their loved one for lunch or tea.

We regularly review and audit personal care plans in discussion with residents, their family or representative and visiting professionals, and welcome your feedback and recommendations. If you have any suggestions, please call or email, and we will discuss them at our next regular meeting.

Every few months, we also hold residents’ and relatives’ meetings which you are warmly invited to attend. We display minutes for these on the notice board in reception at each care home, and also send them by post to our residents’ family or representative.

We maintain the very highest of standards at Mansfield Care Homes, but we never become complacent. We actively strive to improve our services wherever possible, and carry out internal monthly reviews of care plans, food, medication, environment, health and safety, and staffing. It goes without saying that we also hold annual Quality Assurance Audits which are monitored by the regulatory authorities.
